The West Perry Middle School counseling center has two school counselors to assist students. The counselors attempt to work with a specific group of students through 6th and 7th grades. 8th grade is generally divided between the two counselors.
Mr. Michael Eddy, M. Ed.
This is Mr. Eddy's 12th year working as a school counselor for West Perry Middle School. For the 2017-18 school year, he will be working with all 7th grade students and 8th grade students with the last names starting with M-Z. Michael Eddy earned his M. Ed. in school counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also earned his BS in Natural Science and Mathematics at IUP along with studying music. Prior to that he served 6 years in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Mechanical Operator aboard a fast attack submarine.
His interests include adolescent brain development, physics, and music.
